Wee Studio

I am finally starting to move my vast illustration and design operation from the house to the wee garden studio. It will be nice to commute across the patio to the studio instead of what happens now. Which, suffice to say, involves padding across the carpet from the bed to the office chair. Ha! The truth is out! I do have to go into the kitchen to make coffee. So that's something. For more than 15 years I commuted by car to an office job that took no less than 3-4 hours out my day. So I'm not complaining. Even though my space now is tight and limited it is going to be hard to leave my little nest. There will be lots to do before I make the big move. Electricity needs to be installed, air conditioning, heating, insulation and various do-dads will be needed make it seem like home. Money in, money out!

Everything is Illustrated - Illustrator Richard May answers questions about the rigors of being an illustrator. "...if you’re anything but flexible as an illustrator, you’re pretty much fucked". You said it brother.
